Octyldodecanol (LINKCOLIN 20)

A clear, odourless fatty alcohol produced from vegetable oils, with excellent solvent properties. Used as an emollient, solvent and moisturizer in lip balm, skin lotions, facial cleansers, sun care and colour cosmetics. Stable to hydrolysis and usable over a wide pH range, with medium spreading. Also a solvent for perfume ingredients and for salicylic acid.
